Fixture Position Notes — All 9 Heads on Floor
F1, F2, F3, F4 (Behind DJ — Group A): Mounted on floor in a line behind DJ booth, all facing TOWARD the crowd. Beams project upward and forward over the dance floor. Pan sweeps side-to-side freely. Tilt limited — do NOT project directly into dancers' faces. Keep beams angled upward at 60°–90° from horizontal. These provide the main backlight and silhouette effects.
F5 & F6 (Left Side — Group B): Mounted on floor along the left wall, beams aimed toward the BACK WALL. F5 is positioned further from the back wall, F6 closer. They create side-wash and cross-light effects. Pan sweeps along the left wall. Tilt limited to avoid dance floor projection.
F7 & F8 (Right Side — Group C): Mounted on floor along the right wall, beams aimed toward the BACK WALL. Mirror of F5/F6. They create matching side-wash from the right. Pan sweeps along the right wall.
D1 (Disco Ball Head — Behind DJ, Back Wall): Mounted on floor directly against the back wall behind the DJ booth, pointing STRAIGHT UP at the disco ball hung directly above. This fixture does NOT move — it stays locked on the disco ball at all times. Color changes only. This is the ONLY fixture that illuminates the disco ball.
Disco Ball: Hung at ceiling level directly above D1, behind the DJ booth. When D1 is active, the disco ball scatters light across the entire venue.
Movement Rule: All heads on floor. F1–F4 face the crowd — keep tilt conservative to avoid blinding dancers. F5–F8 aim toward back wall. D1 is always static. When in doubt, keep beams pointed upward.
